"Good Morning Princess", 2022

Ο μικρός μου γιός, ο Κωνσταντίνος, στο μάθημα των εικαστικών, στο σχολείο, σχεδίασε με κοινό μολύβι γραφίτη ένα μικρό κοριτσάκι. Το έκανε πάνω σε ένα φτηνό χαρτί, σε απλό μπλοκ σχεδίου για παιδιά. Ήταν το θέμα της σχολικής εργασίας που τους είχε αναθέσει η καθηγήτρια τους των εικαστικών, η κυρία Dimitra Koutsianou. Ο Κωνσταντίνος δεν μπορούσε να θυμηθεί τον ζωγράφο που το είχε φιλοτεχνήσει, ούτε και τον τίτλο του πρωτότυπου πίνακα.
Όταν το είδα μου θύμισε κάτι. Αυτό το κοριτσάκι μου ήταν πολύ γνώριμο. Παρότι έψαξα πολύ δεν μπόρεσα να βρω την πληροφορία που αναζητούσα. Μου άρεσε πολύ το σχέδιο από γραφίτη του Κωνσταντίνου μου. Άρχισα να του δίνω χρώμα, σα να του έδινα ζωή. Την ξεκίνησα πολύ πρωί και την έκανα σα πριγκίπισσα γι αυτό και ο τίτλος «Good Morning Princess».
Βέβαια η «τύχη» έκανε για άλλη μια φορά τα «μαγικά» της…
Λίγο πριν το ολοκληρώσω, βρέθηκα «τυχαία» μπροστά στο : “Portrait of a Young Girl” .c. 1915 – του μεγάλου Ισπανού σουρεαλιστή Joan Miro.
Ο André Robert Breton δήλωσε για τον Miro … "είναι ο περισσότερο σουρεαλιστής από όλους".

My little son, Konstantinos, in the art class at school, drew a little girl using a common graphite pencil. He did it on a piece of cheap paper. It was the art project school work, by his art teacher.
Constantine could not remember the painter who had painted it, nor the title of the original painting.
When I first looked at it, it reminded me of something. Somehow this little girl was very familiar. Despite all my online searches, I could not find the information I was looking for. I really liked what my kid did. I started to color it, in a manner as if I was giving it life.
I started it very early in the morning and made it look like a princess... for that and the title "Good Morning Princess".
"Luck" factor, once again did the "magic"… Just before I finished, while browsing the net, I found myself "accidentally" in front of the: "Portrait of a Young Girl" .c. 1915 - by the great Spanish surrealist painter Joan Miro.
André Robert Breton says for Miro… "...he is the most surreal artist of all...".
